COVID-19 Booking Policy - Applies To Bookings Made From 13th Sep 2020
With all the uncertainty currently surrounding travel abroad, we fully understand that when booking your UK trip you also want clarity around what will happen in the unfortunate event that you are not able enjoy your motorhome hire experience. We want to be transparent about what will happen if you are unable to travel as a result of your circumstances. Please take a look at our policy below.
We still advise that you take out travel insurance for your motorhome holiday. Insurance policies that include COVID-19 cover are widely available.
Full refund if:
You are unable to travel on your specified dates as a result of government restrictions preventing the movement and gathering of people; This is limited to national travel restrictions on all but essential travel or a local lockdown affecting your home address (as outlined on your booking form).
Transfer your booking without additional fees* if:
You have tested positive to COVID-19 14 days or less before departure
A 14 day isolation period has been implemented where the rental is to start
Your annual leave has been cancelled by your employer as a result of COVID-19.
An official event that is the aim of your trip has been cancelled due to the health measures in place. The official event needs to be declared at point of booking, as events incur an additional rental premium.
* You can transfer the booking to alternative dates (with the same duration as the original booking) with the same hire rates. If you wish to move the booking to dates with a higher hire rate, the difference in hire rates will be payable.
We may ask for evidence that you have been impacted by any of the above circumstances.
